New to Tetris?

Alright, so, I've always wanted to be good at tetris and I needed a new hobby.So I went out and bought a DS LITE from gamestation and picked up myself a copy of Tetris DS.
And Bam, I start playing, this was a week ago.
I had just been messing about trying to go faster and studying tetrisconcept. So I thought, I may as well go online, was I ready? Pfft, big mistake.
After losing somewhat 50 times before I won my first game. I decided to hit the VS CPU, at the moment, 5 is impossible for me, and the majority of the time 4 beats me to. I guess I will just have to keep practising.
On thursday I spent a good few hours online. I got myself up to around 65 wins out of 160 battles. Yeh, I know. It's terrible. I hit about the 4200 ratings.
After playing a week, I'm on 78 wins out of around 250 battles and am at the 4000 mark.
Lets look on the brightside. I can pretty much see the day-to-day improvements. And I am getting better.
I've been playing every chance I get, every break I get, everytime I have nothing to do, I take it everywhere with me. Its just a matter of time.
So, let my climb to 5000 begin.

Just keep practising and you'll improve. People in the IRC channel here can probably give you a few tips.
